As we continue our work with the experience of the Natural Mind: the “relaxed mind,” the “mind free of disturbances” we see a lot of possibilities. This experience is the natural result of meditation and, with regular practice, can be present in our day-to-day experience, outside of our sitting practice.
Here is a quote from The Radiance Sutras, translated by Lorin Roche.
People talk about mind and ego.
Let’s just drop this whole conversation.Consider instead:
There is no mind.
There is no ego. There is only the vivid reality
Of this surprising moment
at play, beckoning.
Living in the present moment is the letting go of regretting the past and worrying about the future.
Any takers?
